About the winery

50th Parallel Estate's vineyards overlook Okanagan Lake in Lake Country, one of the cooler reaches of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. While the estate is particularly recognized for Pinot Noir, its aromatic white varieties demonstrate the versatility of this northern Okanagan terroir.

The estate's Pinot Gris combines the generous fruit associated with the variety with the natural freshness of its cool-climate setting. The 2016 vintage offers an uncommon opportunity to taste an aged Canadian Pinot Gris and explore how texture, fruit and secondary characteristics develop with time in bottle.

Together, these four wines tell a story about Canadian wine

The 2016 Meyer Family Gewürztraminer shows the Okanagan’s ability to produce expressive aromatic varieties with the potential to evolve beautifully in bottle, while the 2016 50th Parallel Estate Pinot Gris shows how a generous, cool-climate white gains richness and complexity with time in bottle.

Winemaker’s CUT Rosé 2025 captures the freshness and vibrancy of a new Okanagan vintage, while the 2020 Poplar Grove Cabernet Franc shows another side of the region — structured, refined and distinctly cool-climate.

Together, the four wines move from library vintage to new release, aromatic white to Cabernet Franc — a small snapshot of the range and character of Canadian wine.
