Tasting Notes

This Bordeaux-inspired blend is both soft and fruit-driven, yet firmly structured with elegance. Aromas of ripe raspberry, blackberry, baking spice, and forest underbrush introduce a palate that is full-bodied and layered. Juicy flavors of raspberry, blackberry, and pomegranate dominate, supported by subtle earthy notes, spice, and bright acidity.

Winemaker Notes

Aromas
Ripe raspberry, blackberry, baking spice, and a whisper of forest floor.

Palate
Full-bodied and fruit-forward, showcasing layers of red and black berries, with juicy acidity and refined tannins.

Finish
Long, structured, and elegant, with lingering berry fruit and spice.

Each variety and vineyard block was harvested separately at peak ripeness. After gentle destemming and a moderate cold soak, fermentation took place in concrete tanks. Following pressing, the wine was aged for 15 months in 100% French oak (13% new). Barrels with ideal complexity and freshness were selected for the final blend, which was gently filtered and bottled under screw cap.

Food Pairing Suggestions

The richness of this blend makes it a natural partner for:

  • Grilled steak or BBQ ribs

  • Beef stew, duck, or lamb dishes

  • Aged cheeses such as cheddar or gouda

About Kascadia

North American wines, including those from Canada, the United States, and Mexico, have risen to the top of the list when it comes to the world's "new world" wines. These regions have rapidly established themselves as producers of exceptional quality and diverse varietals, challenging the long-held dominance of classic Old World wine regions like France, Italy, and Spain.

"The wine renaissance is here, and it spans from Napa to Niagara!" - VJ Gandhi
