Tasting Notes

The 13th Street Cuvée Rosé greets you with a delicate coral-pink hue and persistent fine bubbles. On the nose, expect aromas of wild strawberries, raspberry sorbet, citrus peel, and subtle brioche. The palate is lively and precise with bright acidity and flavours of red currants, cranberry, and blood orange, leading to a dry, crisp finish that lingers with refreshing minerality.

Winemaker Notes

Aromas

  • Fresh red berries (strawberry, raspberry), citrus zest, hints of rose petal and yeast autolysis (brioche).

Palate

  • Vibrant mousse with refined texture; red fruit-driven with a touch of creaminess from extended lees aging.

Finish

  • Crisp and clean with a mineral backbone and a subtle saline edge; dry and refreshing.

Crafted using the Traditional Method (Méthode Classique), this wine spent 18+ months on the lees, adding complexity and a delicate mousse that elevates the fruit-forward profile.

Food Pairing Suggestions

Perfect as an aperitif or alongside dishes that echo its vibrant character:

  • Smoked salmon blinis with crème fraîche

  • Beet and goat cheese salad

  • Sushi and sashimi

  • Duck breast with cherry glaze

  • Soft cheeses like brie or chèvre

Why We Love It

The 13th Street Cuvée Rosé is everything a premium Canadian sparkling wine should be—elegant, vibrant, and food-friendly. It punches well above its price point and rivals many Champagne-style wines with its finesse and balance. Whether you're celebrating or just unwinding, this bottle adds a touch of class to any occasion.

About Kascadia

North American wines, including those from Canada, the United States, and Mexico, have risen to the top of the list when it comes to the world's "new world" wines. These regions have rapidly established themselves as producers of exceptional quality and diverse varietals, challenging the long-held dominance of classic Old World wine regions like France, Italy, and Spain.

"The wine renaissance is here, and it spans from Napa to Niagara!" - VJ Gandhi
