  • Organically farmed fruit from California’s North Coast AVA

  • Praised for its freshness, balance, and low-alcohol appeal

Tasting Notes

The 2022 Pouya Rosé is vibrant, dry, and supremely crushable. It pours a light, hazy pink hue and offers an energetic burst of wild strawberry, rhubarb, watermelon rind, and hints of citrus zest. The mouthfeel is crisp and slightly textural, with refreshing acidity and a dry, mineral-driven finish. A true natural rosé that’s both easygoing and expressive.

Winemaker Notes

Aromas

  • Tart red berries, grapefruit peel, white pepper, and fresh herbs

Palate

  • Light-bodied with juicy notes of cranberry, raspberry, and pink grapefruit, backed by subtle savory tones

Finish

  • Crisp, bone-dry, and slightly saline, with soft tannins and lingering citrus minerality

Made from organically farmed Grenache and Syrah, this rosé was fermented with native yeasts and bottled unfined, unfiltered, with no added sulfur. Pouya Wines focuses on purity and vibrancy, allowing the fruit and terroir to shine without manipulation.

Food Pairing Suggestions

This rosé is incredibly versatile—perfect for sunny days, casual meals, or backyard gatherings. Pair it with:

  • Grilled salmon or trout with citrus glaze

  • Vietnamese rice noodle salad with mint and lime

  • Prosciutto and melon or burrata with stone fruit

  • Spicy hummus with crudités

  • Summer vegetable pizza with pesto drizzle

Its acidity and light structure complement bold herbs, spice, and fresh produce.

Why We Love It

We love the 2022 Pouya Rosé because it delivers authentic natural wine character with approachability and charm. It’s everything we want in a chillable rosé: vibrant, low-intervention, food-friendly, and endlessly drinkable. With its hazy glow and unfiltered texture, it’s as visually compelling as it is delicious—a standout for both natural wine newcomers and longtime fans.

About Kascadia

North American wines, including those from Canada, the United States, and Mexico, have risen to the top of the list when it comes to the world's "new world" wines. These regions have rapidly established themselves as producers of exceptional quality and diverse varietals, challenging the long-held dominance of classic Old World wine regions like France, Italy, and Spain.
