This is a lifted and pretty Cabernet. The nose shows blue fruits, plum, oak spice and an intriguing raspberry note. The palate is almost on the lighter end for a Cabernet, with blue and red fruits, balanced by some oak spice notes.

Fruit is all organically farmed, coming from the Calistoga AVA within Napa Valley.

100% destemmed, 100% whole berry, no crush. Cool ferment with native yeast. 100% native malolactic fermentation. Juice spends about 18-20 days on the skins. No additions during fermentations. Aged 8-9 months in neutral French oak.

Lúuma is named after the original name of the Miwok village, Péta Lúuma. The Cabernet Sauvignon is made by Inizi, in collaboration with Scribe Winery and Revel Wine, with the goal of offering a bright, honest, food friendly wines at an every day price.
