Mouthwatering acidity and finely integrated tannins create exceptional balance, while a long, graceful finish highlights the purity and finesse of cool-climate Okanagan Pinot Noir.

Sourced from vineyards located north of Oliver and southeast of Osoyoos, this Pinot Noir is grown on sandy loam and gravel soils that contribute to its finesse and mineral character. Hand-harvested in September 2020, the wine was crafted using a combination of traditional and minimal-intervention techniques, including 50% cold fermentation with organic yeast and 50% native wild fermentation. Following full malolactic conversion, the wine was aged for 12 months in French oak (80% neutral, 20% new) before being bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve texture, purity, and site expression.

Alcohol: 13.5%

Food Pairing Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with duck breast, roasted pork loin, mushroom risotto, and cedar-planked salmon. Its earthy complexity also complements roast chicken, pasta dishes, charcuterie, and classic comfort foods such as beef bourguignon. A versatile Pinot Noir equally suited to weeknight dinners and special occasions.

Why We Love It

The 2020 Winemaker's CUT Bohemian Pinot Noir captures everything that makes Okanagan Pinot Noir so compelling—vibrant fruit, earthy nuance, refreshing acidity, and remarkable balance. The Bohemian Series represents Winemaker's CUT's commitment to crafting wines that authentically express vineyard character through traditional winemaking practices and minimal intervention.

Produced in limited quantities and bottled unfined and unfiltered, this Pinot Noir delivers a level of purity and elegance rarely found at its price point. Enjoy now for its freshness and charm, or cellar confidently for up to eight years as additional layers of complexity emerge. This is a thoughtful, terroir-driven Pinot Noir that beautifully reflects the character of British Columbia's South Okanagan.

About Kascadia

North American wines, including those from Canada, the United States, and Mexico, have risen to the top of the list when it comes to the world's "new world" wines. These regions have rapidly established themselves as producers of exceptional quality and diverse varietals, challenging the long-held dominance of classic Old World wine regions like France, Italy, and Spain.
