The wine is a blend of our two estate vineyards; Old Main Road vineyard planted in 1996 on the Naramata Bench,McLean Creek Road vineyardplanted in 1994 in Okanagan Falls and JAK’s sister Terry Meyer - Stone’s vineyard on Anarchist Mountain in Osoyoos, BC. This Chardonnay is a blend of many separate small batch picks through the dates listed above; the unique terroirs of the three vineyard sites yield a wine with elegance, finesse and length. We operate both of our vineyards using organic farming practices.

Ideal temperatures, minimal rainfall and cool crisp nights lead to beautiful fruit coming off the vines throughout September and October.

The grapes were gently whole cluster pressed with the juice being cold settled overnight. It was then racked off its heavy sediment into a combination of older seasoned French oak barrels and stainless steel vessels where it went through a cool fermentation which lasted two weeks. The wine was left on its fine lees for four months, a natural malolactic fermentation occurred.

"I've never had anything but California Chardonnay so this is a first for me! Crisp, and refreshing and I paired it with our dinner. Excellent! " Samantha - Customer Review
