Representing a trend towards drier styles of all our aromatics, the latest Gewürztraminer vintage balances fresh grapefruit and mandarin flavours with a zippy, spicy finish. A rich mouthfeel and good acidity make it an ideal pairing wine for sushi, vinaigrette-based salads, and spicy Asian foods.

Grapes for this aromatic white were sourced from Meyer’s McLean Creek Road Vineyard in Okanagan Falls. There is plenty going on aromatically, with spice, peach, mandarin orange, apricot and sweet apple notes all showing beautifully. On the light-plus bodied, viscous palate, however, this Gewürztraminer comes across on the drier side, yet retains ripe stone fruit and spice flavours and a hint of a peppery mineral note on the finish. Try with spicier Thai or curry dishes. ★★★★ - Ben MacPhee-Sigurdson, Winnipeg Free Press April 2017
To produce the finest quality wines in the traditions of burgundy, we followed certain philosophies, strategies and techniques in production. Each wine reflects the single vineyard of its origin, the soil, the climate, the slope. Hand harvested, hand crafted, with great attention to detail, we take pride in each bottle of wine. Meyer Family Vineyards wines are produced on two main vineyards, the 1.62 hectare Old Main Road vineyard on the Naramata Bench and the 6.9 hectare McLean Creek Road vineyard in Okanagan Falls. - Chris Carson
