Estate Grown and aged 18 months 50% new French oak. Elegance and freshness on the nose bursting with black fruits of bramble berry & blackberry as well as savoury notes of liquorice, eucalyptus and sage. The palate follows through with well inte-grated toasty, talc like tannins, cherries, currants and earth as well as fresh acidity that keeps you wanting more. A wine that proves Merlot is not only for blending.

Reviews:

92 Points - The wine begins with a glorious aroma of cassis, plum and black cherry. It delivers flavours of black currant with notes of tobacco, leather and cedar. The texture is dense, with long ripe tannins. This will cellar as well as the Cabernet Sauvignon. John Schreiner
